Refund Policy

REFUND & RETURNS POLICY — SARAH & CHRISTINE

At Sarah & Christine, we want you to love what you ordered. We choose every piece with care, but we know that sometimes a size or style just isn't quite right, and that's completely okay. This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work, so you can shop with peace of mind.

Who this applies to
This policy applies to all orders placed through our store. You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Requests made after 30 days may not be accepted.

Return conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn and unused
  • In their original condition, with any tags attached
  • In their original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (your order number or confirmation email)

Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery, or that are not in resellable condition, may not be accepted.

How to start a return
Please email us first at support@sarahandchristine.nz with your order number, the reason for your return, and a photo of the item where relevant. Once your request is approved, we'll send you simple return instructions and the correct return address. Please don't send anything back before your return has been approved, as we may not be able to process it.

Return shipping
If you're returning an item because you've changed your mind or chose the wrong size, the cost of return shipping is your responsibility. If an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we'll cover the return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service, as we can't take responsibility for returns lost on their way back to us.

Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items
Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, contact us at support@sarahandchristine.nz within 7 days of delivery, with a clear photo or short video and a brief description. Depending on the situation, we'll arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping.

Exchanges
Would you like a different size or colour? Let us know in your return request and we'll do our best to help. Exchanges depend on what we have in stock at the time.

Changes & cancellations
We start preparing orders soon after they're placed, so changes or cancellations aren't always possible. If you need to change something, contact us as quickly as you can at support@sarahandchristine.nz and we'll help where we can.

Refunds
Once we've received and checked your returned item, we'll let you know whether your refund has been approved. Approved refunds are made to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card provider may need a little extra time before it appears in your account. If it's been longer, please get in touch.

Your rights
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. If goods are faulty or not as described, you're entitled to a remedy under the law.
